Sydney Women’s Vocal Orchestra will be taking part this year in the Fall of Singapore Remembrance Service.   They will be joined by girls from Monte Sant’ Angelo Mercy College, North Sydney.

This Ceremony has been held annually since 1946 on the anniversary of the Fall of Singapore in 1942, to commemorate those men and women who fell during the Malayan Campaign, those who perished as Prisoners of War, and those who have died since 1945.  The 2017 ceremony will be the last to be held by the 8th Division in Sydney.

Details:
15th of February every year, commencing at 11.00am
(The Catafalque Party and Military Band will be marching on at 10.50am)
at The Cenotaph, Martin Place, Sydney.
